Plot:
It’s Christmas time, and the McCallister family is preparing for a vacation in Paris. However, after a scuffle with his older brother Buzz, 8-year-old Kevin McCallister (Macaulay Culkin) is sent to his room. The next morning, in the rush to make it to the airport, the family accidentally forgets Kevin at home. Now home alone, Kevin revels in the freedom but soon discovers that two burglars, Harry (Joe Pesci) and Marv (Daniel Stern), are planning to rob his house. Kevin uses his wits and sets up a series of booby traps to defend his home and stop the burglars.
