Vivek Shankar, a medical student, moves into a boys’ hostel at a medical college in coastal Karnataka during the COVID-19 pandemic. Unbeknownst to him and his roommate Rohith, the building was previously a mental asylum that was abandoned for 15 years following a series of gruesome, blood-soaked murders. As eerie and unsettling supernatural incidents begin to unfold across the campus, Vivek and Rohith launch an investigation to uncover the dark truth behind the heavily sealed Room No. 418. Their quest leads them to discover the tragic past of a Yakshagana artist named Devika and her harrowing connection to the locked room. The rest of the film follows the students and a local college counselor as they face escalating supernatural threats and test the boundaries between science, regional folklore, and pure psychological dread.
