Set in rural Tamil Nadu, Dorothy follows two childhood friends, Subbu and Karthik, who grow up inseparable in a society shaped by caste divisions, violence, and toxic masculinity. Their lives take an unexpected turn with the arrival of Dorothy, a compassionate woman whose kindness and understanding begin to challenge their beliefs and the rigid world around them. As the story unfolds, the friends embark on an intense emotional journey involving identity, friendship, self-discovery, and acceptance. Blending rural crime drama, action, and human emotion, the film explores the consequences of prejudice and violence while highlighting the transformative power of empathy and compassion.
