James is introduced to a seemingly magical wooden puppet by his grandfather, Geppetto, and quickly forms a friendship with Pinocchio. However, Pinocchio’s innocent understanding of right and wrong takes a terrifying turn when James introduces him to the world around him. Believing that he is eliminating everything considered “bad,” the puppet begins a disturbing crusade that leaves a trail of chaos and horror behind him. As James struggles to understand his strange new friend, dark secrets surrounding Pinocchio, Geppetto, and Cricket gradually emerge, leading to a terrifying journey that challenges the line between innocence and evil.
