Synopsis: In the forests of southern Tamil Nadu, wild animals are hunted using country-made bombs, while government-authorized timber cutting takes place in the same region. At a timber yard, an elephant named Raju is used to load and transport cut trees under the care of his mahout, Chengu. When wildlife activists secretly record Raju working and submit the footage to the authorities, the timber-yard owner decides to secretly send the elephant away. The film follows Raju and Chengu after this incident and explores how the decision dramatically changes both of their lives.
