Set in the 1990s in the village of Srirampuram in Chittoor district, Lenin is an orphan raised by Jayanthi alongside her son Vasanth. Although Vasanth eventually supports Lenin and Bharathi’s love, hidden motives, village politics and betrayal soon turn their lives upside down. Against the backdrop of the intense Draupadi festival and inspired by themes from the Mahabharata, Lenin returns from prison determined to uncover the truth, confront those who betrayed him and put an end to a long-running cycle of violence.
