Jaswinder “Jassi” Singh Randhawa returns to London after 13 years of estrangement, hoping to reconcile with his wife Dimple—only to be served divorce papers. As he navigates heartbreak, he meets Rabia, a recently separated Pakistani wedding planner struggling to help her stepdaughter marry into a conservative Indian family. Jassi impulsively pretends to be Rabia’s husband and a decorated Army colonel to gain approval from her traditionalist father-in-law. What follows is a rollercoaster of mistaken identities, clashing cultures, family feuds, and full-blown wedding chaos—all peppered with Punjabi humor, vibrant music, and slapstick action.
